How To PLay

The Paddle Ball Court doubles as a versatile space for multiple games, including Paddle Ball, Badminton, or Half-Sized Volleyball. Here’s how to play:

Positioning:

  • Set up the court with a net stretched across the middle, adjustable for Paddle Ball, Badminton, or Volleyball.

  • Players on opposite sides of the net prepare for their respective game (Paddle Ball, Badminton, or Volleyball).

Starting the Game:

  • For Paddle Ball: One player serves the ball underhand, aiming for the opponent’s side of the court.

  • For Badminton: The shuttlecock is served diagonally over the net, and both players (singles or doubles) rally the shuttlecock back and forth.

  • For Half-Sized Volleyball: A player serves the ball underhand or overhand, aiming to get it past the opponent and into their half of the court.

Gameplay:

  • For Paddle Ball: Players take turns hitting the ball with paddles, trying to keep it in play and land it on the opponent’s side of the court.

  • For Badminton: Players (singles or doubles) hit the shuttlecock back and forth over the net, trying to score by landing it in the opponent’s side of the court.

  • For Half-Sized Volleyball: Players hit the ball back and forth over the net, using a maximum of three touches per side (pass, set, spike) and trying to score by getting the ball to land in the opponent’s side.

Winning the Game:

  • For Paddle Ball: The game is usually played to 11 or 21 points, and a point is won when the opponent fails to return the ball.

  • For Badminton: A game is won when a player/team reaches 21 points (or another set amount) with a 2-point lead.

  • For Half-Sized Volleyball: The first team to reach 15-25 points wins, with a 2-point lead.

Rules and Safety:

  • For Paddle Ball: Players must hit the ball with the paddle and keep it inside the boundary lines.

  • For Badminton: The shuttlecock must be kept inside the court boundaries, and no player may touch the net.

  • For Half-Sized Volleyball: Players are not allowed to touch the net or double-hit the ball, and the ball must stay within bounds.

The Paddle Ball Court is a great, adaptable space for a variety of fun games, perfect for any gathering! Get ready to rally, spike, and serve your way to victory!
