Foosball is a fast-paced and exciting table game that’s all about quick reflexes and team strategy. Here’s how to play:

Positioning:

  • Each player or team controls rods with figures attached, with the goal of moving the ball into the opponent’s goal.

  • The game is usually played with two or four players, with each team controlling one set of rods:

    • One rod for the goalie (with a stationary figure),

    • One rod for the defenders (usually 2-3 figures),

    • One rod for the midfielders (usually 3 figures),

    • One rod for the forwards (usually 3 figures).

Starting the Game:

  • The game begins by serving the ball from the middle of the field.

  • Players can either serve the ball themselves or have a referee drop the ball into play.

  • Players take turns rotating the rods to move their figures and strike the ball, trying to score goals.

Gameplay:

  • Players should use controlled movements to pass the ball between their figures.

  • The objective is to get the ball into the opponent’s goal by maneuvering it with the figures, using controlled and legal hits.

  • Players are allowed to use the rods to pass, shoot, or block the ball, but spinning the rods excessively or continuously is usually considered a violation.
