How To PLay

Life-Sized Battleship is a giant version of the classic naval strategy game where players try to sink their opponent’s ships. Here’s how to play:

Starting the Game:

  • The game is played by two players or teams.

  • Decide who goes first using rock, paper, scissors or another method.

Setup:

  • Each player/team has a grid with a set of large "ships" (made of large blocks or markers) placed secretly on their side of the board.

  • The goal is to sink all of the opponent’s ships by calling out coordinates to guess their locations.

Gameplay:

  • Players take turns calling out a coordinate (e.g., A3, B5) to try and hit the opponent’s ships.

  • The opponent must respond with either “hit” or “miss,” depending on whether the called coordinate hits one of their ships.

  • If a player hits a ship, they must keep track of it. If all segments of a ship are hit, it’s sunk.

Scoring:

  • There are no points scored in this game—players simply try to sink each other’s ships.

  • The game is won when one player/team sinks all of the opponent's ships.

Winning the Game:

  • The first player or team to sink all of the opponent’s ships wins the game.
