How To PLay

Air Hockey is a fast-paced, exciting game that tests reflexes and strategy. Perfect for players of all ages, here’s how to play:

Positioning:

  • Players must keep their mallets on their side of the table and avoid reaching over the centerline.

  • Hands should stay on the mallet handle to avoid injury.

Starting the Game:

  • A coin flip or agreement decides who starts.

  • The starting player hits the puck to begin play.

Gameplay:

  • Players take turns striking the puck, aiming to score by getting it into the opponent’s goal.

  • A point is scored when the puck completely crosses the goal line.

  • The puck must stay on the table; if it flies off, the opposing player resumes play from their side.

  • No “topping” (covering the puck with the mallet) is allowed.

Winning the Game:

  • The game ends when a player reaches 7 points (or a pre-agreed score).

  • In the case of a tie, play sudden death: the first player to score wins.

Rules and Safety:

  • Keep fingers and hands away from the puck during play.

  • Avoid slamming the mallet too hard to prevent damaging the table or puck.
